CWG is the merger of three companies, Continental Western Insurance Company^®, Tri-State Insurance Company of Minnesota^® and Union Insurance Company^®.

Welcome to Continental Western Group^®! Continental Western Insurance Company^®, Tri-State Insurance Company of Minnesota^® and Union Insurance Company^® have joined forces to form the new operation which has its home office in Des Moines, Iowa. Regional Offices are located in Madison, Wisconsin, Luverne, Minnesota and Lincoln, Nebraska.

Combined, the three companies have written premiums in the hundreds of million dollars and offer a full line of Commercial Lines products. They operate through independent insurance agents in Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. The companies are members of the W.R. Berkley Corporation^®, which is one of the top 25 property and casualty insurance companies in the United States.
