Creating a positive experience for our agents and customers is of utmost importance to Continental Western Group. We structure our business operations with the customer’s experience in mind from start to finish. Our relationships with our clients are important, and we work hard to earn their trust by delivering exceptional service.

Listen First, Act Second

CWG is in a league of its own in the service it provides to clients by being flexible, local, and responsive. Through our process, we create solutions that are specific and targeted to our client’s needs. We pride ourselves on being flexible for our clients. We want to provide the best solutions for each business’s specific problems.

Listening to our client’s needs is at the heart of CWG. We don’t want clients to be given a cookie-cutter experience, but rather a tailored solution made to the client’s individual needs. The first step to that process is listening to what the client’s problems are and what they need from CWG. It’s important to have a complete understanding of the client’s situation before offering a developed solution. Oftentimes the first instinct is to get caught up in our own ideas of a client’s problems rather than listening to them fully and really understanding the problem at hand. Through listening and responding directly to the client’s needs, we make sure the right problems are getting solved.

We then research and create a solution. After creating evidence-based strategies for our client’s needs, we work to execute those strategies internally. Understanding what is valuable to a client is integral to having these solutions make sense and work within their company.

Look at the Big Picture

It requires a lot of internal coordination between every part of our organization to deliver the best service to our clients. The Operations team helps to facilitate exceptional client experiences across CWG. The client cares more about their overall experience than any individual part, which is one of the reasons this role at CWG is important.

CWG challenges each employee to consider the client’s holistic experience as they perform their tasks each day. Changing that focus from an individual’s own tasks to the overall client experience can create more internal effort, but it delivers significantly better results for the customer. We emphasize the customer’s wins, rather than things that will make our own jobs simpler. Ultimately this is one of the reasons why CWG’s customer experience is able to run so smoothly.

When interacting with clients, we strive to treat them well. You never know how many people they have had to interact with before they’ve gotten to your desk, or what kind of day they’ve had. It’s important to place yourself in the client’s shoes and try to create the best solutions targeted to their specific situation.

We want our team to be focused on solving client’s problems and helping them grow their business. When we are able to make an interaction run so smoothly that it becomes an exceptional customer experience, that is a win. Delivering that positive experience to our customers is how we define success.
