At Continental Western Group (CWG) we make a promise every time we write a policy. Living up to and executing those promises with a high level of service, clarity, and transparency are critical to building a trusting relationship with our clients. We believe it is important to follow through and do what we say we will do.

Know Your Clients

When we get to know our clients on a personal level, we earn a deeper understanding of how they conduct business and what they value. This leads to better retention, higher profitability, and stronger relationships.

CWG is in a state of innovation, so identifying pain points and recognizing client needs requires flexibility and creativity in order to produce distinct results.

What sets CWG apart is that we sit down with clients and make a plan together about how to approach their challenges. We intentionally build genuine relationships with our clients. We develop innovative, strategic solutions to fit their needs.

Understand Client Preferences

As you get to know your clients, you will develop a clear understanding of their communication preferences. While some clients appreciate a more hands-on approach, others may not. For this reason, you have to know when to go all in and when to step back.

In a similar way, we want to be inclusive and attentive when it comes to client communication preferences. As more processes move toward automation and rely on online tools, it is important that we offer a variety of capabilities to suit client needs.

Train Associates Well

CWG values not only our clients but also our teams and associates. We meet their needs through opportunities such as business development training.

To build upon existing relationships and hone their skill sets, we engage newer employees by encouraging co-traveling with highly experienced employees. Co-traveling provides opportunities for immediate feedback and reflection on what went well and what could be improved.

We often say that two of our associates’ most powerful tools for connecting with clients and building meaningful relationships are a telephone and a car.

The culture at CWG is unique. Our employees are empowered and trusted to do great work while having fun and communicating with one another.

The CWG Difference

Relationships at CWG are more than just a commodity. We call people back, and we offer transparent service from the start. Because we build personal relationships, our clients know they can rely on us if something ever happens.

Relationships are about people and the service, trust, and professionalism they provide. It can be easy to get caught up in new technologies and lose sight of the fundamentals of what we do and how we interact with other people. To stay connected, a good rule of thumb is that if a conversation requires more than one email, just pick up the phone.

Greater Leadership Series

At CWG, we’re committed to helping businesses throughout the Midwest thrive. We understand the importance of growing and developing leadership skills in every organization.

In the CWG Greater Leadership Series, CWG leaders will share personal stories and insights that have helped them along the path to leadership success.

With CWG, not only can you get coverage tailored to your needs, but you will also receive support from an expert risk management team and dedicated claims professionals to guide you through the claim process in the event of a loss.
